Juhid live and breathe camp life for the full seven days — working, playing and living alongside their tare members 24/7. They take responsibility for their group’s wellbeing, growth and participation, contribute actively to the Juhtkond team, and help plan and deliver a safe, fun and meaningful program. Strong teamwork, initiative, adaptability, resilience, good health, and a great sense of humour are all essential qualities for this rewarding leadership role.

The Juhtkond is guided by a four-member Executive Team comprising the Laagrijuht, Laagriabijuht, Komandant and Kultuurijuht. These key leadership roles are responsible for providing strategic direction, operational oversight and cultural guidance to ensure the successful delivery of Sõrve.
Appointments to the Executive Team are made through a formal Expression of Interest process, with successful applicants announced prior to the AGM.
